I opened my mouth, and I don't remember exactly what came out. Is it to early in my career to get a publicist? Please, let me explain.
I saw a BSW bulletin on MySpace last week asking for actors willing to comment on THIS ARTICLE. It sparked immediate interest in me, because I think this might be directly realted to the UCLA study I participated in earlier this year. I connected with the writer at BSW, and give my two cents on the subject. Problem is, I don't remember exactly what I said. (I get kind of passionate about things sometimes, and tend to ramble.) Like you didn't know that already, right?...:)...At any rate, I am VERY happy that a spotlight is shining on this issue, but I personally don't understand how a lawsuit would/will help the matter. Maybe I'm just not seeing the full picture. Any of you have comments/opinions you'd like to share on the subject?
(By the way, I'll let you know when the article goes to print, and which of my comments make the final cut.)
IN OTHER NEWS:
I had a blast this past Saturday. Loni is the best! She is sooo funny. I was dumbfounded when she gave me a birthday shot out (although quite embarassing...:)...) at the end of the show!...Thanks girl. I felt special!...:)...Definitely catch her stand up if you have the opportunity. In addition to Loni (and several other comics), we were treated to some good laughs by Tony Rock, Chris Rock's brother. Let me tell you, by the time I left there I had cried several times from laughter. I needed that.
Today I spent my hard earned cash to be part of a mass electronic mailing to Agents/Managers seeking new talent. Although I'm hesitant to spend the money, I need to get this done ya'll, and I just DO NOT have the time to do it by myself. Please pray with me that someone will see that "Guest Star" glimmer in my headshot, and call me in just in time for Pilot Season 2007!...:)...
I tell you, all I need is for someone to "believe in me." I know I can get the job done!
Anyways, that's it for now.
Happy Holidays if you don't hear from me til the New Year!
Be well.
